Called to love ; Walk worthy of the name.

Luke 6:27-28 "But I say unto you which hear,Love your enemies,do good to them that hate you, Bless them that curse you,and pray for them which despitefully use you".

      What would happen if, as Christians, we started actually living out what Jesus taught us?Jesus teachings on love attacks several traditions and misinterpretations of scripture that we sometimes use to justify our sinful and unloving nature.While we have learned to love thy neighbor, we sometime seem to exclude our enemies. But Jesus shatters this line of thinking by instructing us to love and do good to our enemies. The love Jesus instructs us to love with, does not result from any merit or attractiveness in the other person, but comes solely from the heart of the one loving, and we are to seek the best interest of that person, despite their behavior toward us. Now this love does not result from a weakness or failure to stand up for truth or justice, it is a purposeful love that flows from a strong heart that seeks the eternal salvation of others. This sacrifical love demonstrates that our purpose for living is larger than ourselves.
      Jesus commands us to pray for and bless those that offend us. Our natural responce is to strike back when mistreated, but Jesus teaches us to do the opposite. Jesus gave two illustrations to show the extent of how far our love for others should go, there is a blow to the face and stolen clothes, in such cases we are not retaliate.The purpose is to reach out in love instead of satisfying ourselves through revenge.
    Our love must be strong and purposeful in accepting mistreatment,as it shows our trust in the Lord and his ability to use the situation for his Glory. Jesus not only taught us our love must be strong and purposeful when mistreated, but we must also be merciful to others in our daily lives, as the Father daily pours out new mercy on us.
    The standard of sacrificial love goes beyond what others might do or what we might feel we should, but it is what Jesus teaches us to do, it is what he did.The prime example of selfless giving is our heavenly Father himself, who showed kindness to all humanity regardless of how they treated him, as he gave his only begotten son that we might have everlasting life. When we love others the way Jesus instructed us to, we show the world we are his.We often ask WWJD, well now you know, will you follow!  Got Jesus? Tell a friend change a life....

He upholeth me ;He lifts me up, with his right hand

Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: Be not dismayed; for I am God: I will strenghthen thee; I will help thee; Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

    How do people handle going through life without God? Gods promise to never leave or forsake us, is perhaps the best of all promises. In spite of our rebellious hearts toward God, with love he still tells us "I have chosen you and have not rejected you".Did we we earn this love?deserve it?, ask for it? No. God is committed totally to his children, even though our walk with him is inconsistant and shakey. What would we do without God? Many seek solis in a number of false gods, they enter into bad relationships of all kinds, they chase careers, money, material goods, sex, substance abuse and even religion.These are just a short list of the false gods he create.But there is only one true God. He says " fear thou not", we have nothing to fear, for he offers his presence to support us in life, for he is with us, the Lord is our shepherd, he provides for us, he is our provision, our hope, our guide, our direction and his two wonderful sheep dogs goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life to protect us.With Gods presence in our life we are never at a loss. He is God, so let us be grateful to him, and thankful for him, in our worship and praise to him,(not with an empty shouts of joy, or a ritulistic hand praise), But by living a life before men, worthy of the name we bear, we are children of the most high God, he is our strenght, so let us walk like it; he is our ever present help, so let us talk like it; and he upholds us with the right hand of his righteousness! so let us  live like it.Jesus the Christ, the righteousness right hand of God, that hold up all who believes.......Live victoriously in Christ..............

Take no thought:

Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;and all these things shall be added unto you."

    We are living in very uncertain times. These days it is very hard for one to plan ahead, we have people in washington who can't seems to come together on what is best for the american people. One side pulling this way and the other side pulling that way, and we are left in the middle full of doubt and uncertainties.We just don't know, will we have a job or not,will we have a income, will we have a house to live in, what will we eat and what shall we wear. We just don't know what we should do, yes saints these are some tough times.But we have comfort in Gods word. He says "take no thought" take no thought for tomorrow for tomorrow will take care of itself. Take no thought for what you will eat, or wear for your father in heaven knows you have need of these things."But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and these things shall be added unto you." He starts off with "But" see saints God has a but for everyone of our doubts and fears. You say " I don't see no way thru this", But "I am the way" a way out of no way. You say " what are we going to eat" But "I am the bread of life". So he says "But",then, seek ye first; Saint this has to be the first thing on our agenda, let him who is first have the first, the first of our thoughts, the first of our day, the first of all our fruits, let all our waking thoughts be of God first.( In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path) "seek ye first the kingdom of God" now when we seek him , we must really seek him. Seek him like we do when we can't find the car keys and we are about to be late to work. Turn over everything , move everything, look even in places you know they are not, and that you've look in before. So move greed, and pride out of your hearts,turn over unrighteousness, self pitty, doubt and fear,remove all things and people which might hinder you seeking and finding the kingdom of God.(This action will bring you to a moment of self actulization, allowing you to see where you are, in contrast to where God needs you to be, if you really seek him that is). He says" But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" When seeking the kingdom, make sure you also seek the righteousness of that kingdom; Jesus the righteousness of God, seek him diligently for he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you". Saints just trust and believe Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord will provide.....So take no thought

Truly Blessed

Psalms 1:1 "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."

      I'm too blessed to stress; Blessed and highly favored: these are popular saying we throw around all the time.But are you really blessed? Truly blessed? The word of God says that "Blessed is the man that don't continue to walk in the advice of the wicked, or stand in the way of the sinner, or sits in the seat of the scornful.See the character and condition of a Godly man allows him to walk in the righteousness of God. God knows those that are his by name, but we only know them by character.The character of a Godly man is given by the rules he chooses to walk by and the advice he takes his direction from.The Godly man takes his direction from the word of God,  he meditates on it day and night. This keeps him on the narrow road, the staright path ,so he is blessed not to walk in the ways of the wicked.The ungodly are unsettled, they have no pacific goal or aim, they don't walk by no certain rule, as they stand for nothing and seem to fall for everything ,thinking they are free, they become slaves to many masters, they are at the command of every lust and the beck and call of every temptation.The Godly man sees them with a sad heart, but he does not do what they do, his character won't allow him to follow their advise, stand in their unrighteousness or to seek rest in their unbelief. He takes his rest in the word of God, and is blessed with a blessing which flows like a flowing river of water, and in all that the Godly man does, he  prospers.
   So if you think you're blessed now just think of how blessed we would be if we meditated on the word of God day and night, if we were to walk worthy of the name by which we are called. Got Jesus? tell a friend save a life................................

Have you counted up the cost?

John 6:69 "And we believe and are sure that thou art the Christ, the son of the living God"
  
  " No man having put his hand to the plough, and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God." For which of you , intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it. Saints who hath believed our report?And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? Do you believe? have you truly counted up the cost? Will you go on with Jesus, or will you go back, and walk no more with him. Here in this chapter of John we have what can be called the revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus reveals who he is , why he came and our work in this great plan of salvation.(since the fall of man ,it has always be about reconciling man back with God, noah's ark, Joseph in egypt, moses leading them from Egypt even Samson's battle all about the salvation of Gods people.)Here in the story we have a great multitude following Jesus,( all following Jesus were not Follwers of Jesus,are you following him or a follower of his) many followed seeking the miracles he preformed and the food which they ate.( we have many today seeking Jesus for what they can get out of him, and not for what he can give to them). Jesus reveals to us our work in this great plan, he took the loaves Blessed it then broke it and gave to the disciples, who then distributed it among the people, Jesus then instructed them to gather up the fragments that none be lost. See Jesus came that none be lost,he has given us the blessed word of God for us to take out and share with a dying world, that none be lost, we are then to take up the fragments of broken lives, and lead them to Jesus. Then Jesus reavels who he is, stating that all who don't eat of his flesh and drink of his blood shall not enter the kingdom.See we must get Jesus on the inside, he is the living word by which we shall have everlating life. He is the abundant life promised us by Gods word. God never promised us big cars, fancy houses, large bank accounts, he never said the road would be easy , a narrow road is never an easy road. But what he did promise is that he would never leave you nor forsake you, and life more abundantly, what can be more abundant that a life with one who has all power..........Got Jesus?  Tell a friend change a life

The Lord; my strength

Psalms 18:1" I will Love thee, O Lord my strength"
 
  I heard a story of a father and his son on a camping trip. They were traveling on a ready made path to a camp ground. As they were making their way up the path a large rock blocked the path. The father said to the son "I'm going to make a man out of you, use your strenght and move the rock." The boy gripped the rock on both sides and tried pushing the rock but it never moved. The boy told his father "It won't move". His father told him he wasn't using all his strenght, so the boy tried again pushing with everything he had, but the rock still didn't move. The boy said father I used all my strenght and I just can't move it. The father said you haven't used all your strenght, the boy a little upset now grabb hold of the rock and pushed, sweet rolling down his face ,yet the rock never moved. The boy said father I used all my strength and still the rock didn't move.His father looked at him and said you didn't use all your strenght, because you never asked me to help.
  Saints there are stumbling blocks that sometimes block the path that God has called us to travel , and many of us get frustrated and change course because we try to move these obsticles by ourselves; But the Lord is our strength in our time of weakness. Let us call on the Lord to aid us in moving the mountains which hinder our journey, let us use all our strength.........Got Jesus? tell afriend change a life........

A vessel of honor

2nd Tim.2:20 "But in the great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor"
   The new testiment gives us many beautiful parables about what it means to be saved, to be a member of the family of God, and to serve the lord Jesus Christ. In the book of ephesians, Paul talks about the church as the household of God. Here in 2nd tim. he speaks of the child of God liken to a vessel in this great house. He speaks of two types of vessels in this house; a vessel of honor and a vessel of dishonor. Saints every christian is a chosen vessel unto Christ, the question is are we to honor or to dishonor. Every believer should live a dedicated life having a compelling desire to be used of God in whatever way he chooses.We must be strong in the grace that is in Jesus Christ, we must study Gods word, that we might be a workman who needs not be ashamed, and  be useful to the master, prepared for every good work.See it is Jesus Christ which gives us the power and the tools to fight this spiritual battle, he equips us for this ministry of reconcilliation, thru Christ, the presence of God enters our hearts, and has the power to transform and convert a vessel of dishonor into a vessel of honor. Gods grace allows us to endure all things, that we might with a singleness of mind proclaim with a loud voice the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the power of God unto salvation. Let us walk in the power of God, and walk worthy of the name by which we are called that we will be victorious over are enemy and lead all in darkness into his marvelous light.....Got Jesus? tell a friend change a life.

Good News; We are free!

Isa. 61:1"The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."
    
          Good news;We all enjoy hearing good news. Good news is something we will accept from anybody at anytime.There is power in good news, it makes you feel good and do good. Good news can lift up a bowed down  head and put a smile on a sad face. The power of good news will move one to take action, take a stance, make a choice, change a direction, alter a situation, and even cause one to become another, a new person.The power of good news is hope in a hopeless situation, gives purpose to a loss cause, and can give life to a dead situation.Good news is endless;the very nature of what it is speaks of hope, carries kindness, offers patience, shows love,while at the sametime it corrects, reproves, creates change,gives instruction and is a way out of no way. No matter what the situation or how bad things seems, good news will comfort you as it tells you everything will be alright.Saints even though our sins and short commings have separated us from God, there is good news.Gods hand is not  to short to save. he has all power; there don't have to be any condemnation to us; for where we were bound by the domion of sin under the power of satan, Jesus the good news from on high lets us know he has conquered satans power, and by his grace has given us the power to losen the yoke of sin from around our necks and shake it off. giving us the power to build up wasted lives, repair broken hearts, release those bound in the prison of unbelief and the voice to proclaim to a dying world the good news of the gospel; the power of God unto salvation.............Jesus is the Christ the son of the living God.....................Got Jesus? tell a friend change a life

Stand united

John 17:21-"That they all be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us; That the world may believe that thou hast sent me:
      Here we have Jesus revealed as the great intercessor. Here he is praying that we all be united. The standard of this unity is the oneness between Jesus and the father,Saints we must be one, it is an absolute for the spreading of the Gospel.Saints the world has not been reached; millions are walking in darkness, because we believers have not unified enough to penatrate the world with the truth of the Gospel.The problem is not God, his will is that none should parish, but we believers stand divided.See there are three essentials for men to become believers; 1) There is the messenger, the person who proclaims the word so that man can believe on the name of Jesus.2)There must be a message to proclaim,and since we are Gods messengers,the message we take into the world must be Gods word, a unified word.3)There has to be belief, one messenger, proclaiming one message with one belief.(that Jesus Christ is Lord). We who confess Jesus Christ as lord must lay aside our petty difference,and lift up the thing that we all have in common.(put aside our personal agenda , denominations, religious differences and lift up the name of Jesus).We the many members of this one glorious body comming together proclaim a single message. Come together as one as Christ and the Father are one, one mind ,one heart, one purpose, of one characters and of one love ,with one mission and proclaiming one message.One body proclaiming Gods only message to a dying world, Christ and him crucified.A body of one, perfected in unity and love, that the world may know that God sent Jesus into the world, and that through him the world might be saved.Saints the world  needs a unified love more than anything else,it needs to see a great demonstration of love from a massive multitude of people.(Think of the power if all believers came together in a united love sharing the good news of the gospel).The world needs the  unified love of God, a love that is patient, that is kind, that bears all things,endures all things,and that believes all things.( believing that if we came together and proclaimed a single message that all can be saved.)The world needs a love that will give everything that one might be saved, the sacrificial love of the Father and Son. So let us who confess the name of Jesus become one with Jesus one with his Love and message,and walk worthy of the name by which we are called, that all in darkness might come into his marvelous light...............Got Jesus? tell a friend change a life

Eph:2:4-5 "But God who is rich in mercy, for his great love where with he loved us; even when we were dead in sin , hath quickened us together with Christ(By grace ye are saved).

    Because of the nature of man, he was in a miserable condition,butby the love of God  there was a glorious change brought about by the grace of God. See in times past we were dead in sin, we walked, talked, and lived according to the ways of the world.We persude it's persuits, did it's deeds, believed its philosophies, sought it's values, and lived a life which was in opposition to the word, will ,and way of God. We were sinners in a dead state, lacking the principles and powers of spiritual life, bondslaves to satin and the joys and toys of this world.But it was Gods love for us, God himself orchastrated this great and happy change.His great love and rich mercy alone.Gods responce to our sins, through his rich mercy and great love God called me to life with Christ. By his grace we are saved, because he lives even though i deserved hell, through Christ i can obtain heaven.A regenerated sinner, now a living soul, his grace gave me salvation, his grace unlocking all that death had locked up and sin had blocked out.God gave me Jesus Christ , his power unto salvation, now let us thank him by giving him to all that we see.Let us share Christ in our walk,walking worthy of the name by which we was called,share him in all that we say and do having love for all that Christ shed his blood for, by living this life in such a way that all in darkness will seek Gods marvelous light. The power of applied knowledge

Eph:1:17-18a "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:The eyes of your understanding being enlighten;
      Knowledge is power, but is it ; becuase you know something is not power, if you are in darkness and know how to turn on the light but don't where is the power. The power is in the applying of that which you know.God said "My people parish for a lack of knowledge" we deny him ,abandon him, forsake him, and at times sell him out all because we lack knowledge of who he truly is.In the book of Isaiah God says " My people are taken captive for a lack of knowledge". We remain prisoners of sin and guilt, held in the bondage of slavery to the flesh,and it's desires all because we lack knowledge as to who we are and whose we are. Saints we have a calling to share with the world the blessings of Gods great plan of salvation. A christians life can never stand still, when something stops growing it begings to die. It is imperitive that we come to fully know the true God in the most personal and intimate sense, for it is through knowledge and understanding of who he is that we can fully grasp our call and know our duty in this great plan of salvation.You can't fully understand whose you are if you don't truly know him who called you. So we must know the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, we must seek wisdom , seek it more than anything else on earth, we must truly hunger and thirst after righteousness.( 85% of all who attend church don't attend sunday school or bible study, how are we to learn).We must pray to receive the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of him.( ours is a revealed religion). So we must seek God above anything else and trust his spirit to reveal the deep things of God to us.
As these truth are revealed the eyes of the heart are opened, for it is with the heart that a man believes. When the eyes of the heart is opened we come to know 3 things. 1)what is the hope of our calling:(God calls us to stand perfect before him without spot and or blemish) we are not perfect but our hope is that through the blood of Jesus and the revelation of the holy spirit we might be made perfect, as we are saved by hope.2)Now we might begin to know the riches of the glory of his inheritance;as informed christians we now reconize the priceless value of our salvation; We realize what a priceless treasure we are to God. and 3)when we come to the knowledge and understanding that we are his, it unleashes the power of God in our life, see what God did for Jesus he will do for us, the resurrection of Jesus showed me God has the power to give me new life and the power to live a new life before him.....Our perfection is in Jesus the Christ the power of God unto salvation

Gods word; Our sword

Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful,and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and morrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart:"
   The word of God is a name for christ. It is the essential word that in the beginning was with God and was God.But it is also the scriptures, the written word of God, but the lord Jesus is never separated from them.He indeed is the substance of the written word. Scripture is what it is because Jesus himself embodies himself in them.(he comes in the vol. of the book).So we have the word of God, the sword of God, it is the sword of peace and rest, and also a sword of salvation and judgment. It is the instrumnet by which we are set free from the bondage of sin and death, but by this same instrument the world will be judged and condemed.It is the truth which makes us free,yet because of unbelief all are not free, many wonder aimlessly in a vast wilderness, a prisoner of our own doubt.Many right now are wondering in a wilderness of worry,because of unbelief,some lost in a wilderness of dispear and depression, trapped by the cares of this world all because of unbelief.( see Jesus said he overcame the world). See saints, the enemy takes our doubt, adds in deception, with a little lie and holds us captive in his kingdom of unbelief.But the word of God ,his sword will not only cut down satans kingdom, but will set up the kingdom of Christ on the ruins of it.We have Gods word to fight the battle of truth, to destroy sin by piercing the heart and conscience of sinful man, destroying unbelief, as it arouses the conscience, convicts the heart and converts the soul. His word judges our thoughts,works,actions and everything about us,that we might experience his peace and enter his everlasting rest and salvation.The help we have from the lord is his word our sword, but we must first reverence the word truly as spoken by God, then his word is quick,and quicking it is life and it creates life wherever it comes. It is a living and incorruptable seed which can never be destroyed. It is powerful; it powerfully convicts,converts,and comforts. It pulls down strong holds, and has the power to raise us to great heights of holiness and happiness. His word is sharpe, it cuts all over, it cuts and wounds all who touch it; it kills self righteousness,sin and unbelief cutting going out and comming in.It cuts deep removing sinful habits away from the soul, that have become the nature of sinful man.It cuts ignorance from understanding,rebillion from the will, and hostility from the mind.It's piercing, forcing its way into the heart of man thru the smallest of opening even the dividing soul and spirit. Precision cuts, dividing the joints and marrow without damaging the bone. This word will cut the lust from the flesh, and like a lazor will remove the lust from the eye.This word is revealing, a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, revealing even the most secret thoughts and design. This word will turn a sinner inside out, and let him see all that is in his heart, turning a sinner into a saint.......... This word of God , our sword of salvation Jesus the Christ the power of Gods word......

You haven't seen nothing yet

Isaiah 64:4 "For since the beginning of the world, men have not heard, nor percieved by ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God beside thee, what he hath prepared for them that waiteth for him"
      This christian journey we have embarked upon has many unknowns.It is full of challenges, obsticals, opportunities,temptations, stumblings blocks, and barriers.It is a narrow road we must travel, and along the way we will slip, trip and fall; we will stumble, have doubts and sometimes even entertain the thought of giving up. But the word of God tells us to press on towards the mark, so quitting is not an option.No matter where the journey leads us we must trust that Jesus will never fail.With every twist and turn with every peak and valley we overcome, it brings glory to God and salvation to a dying soul. Every obstical and challenge we are faced with is a opportunity for us  to be molded, shaped and fashioned into that which God has called us to be,( see believe it or not there are some thing in us about us and that we hold on to that are not part of Gods design for us,).No matter what it is we are going thru it is working together with Gods purpose for our good.Whatever happens is part of God amazing plan of salvation, which he ordained from the foundation of the world.
       For since the beginning of the world men have not heard; they have not either by hearing or seeing come into the full knowledge of Gods goodness. No man have seen, nor can understand the provision made by God for the future happiness of holy souls. Neither seen by eye nor heard by any ear, nor has entered into the heart of any man, what God has prepared for them who love him; those that wait for him,that await the promise salvation designed for us.No eye has seen ,nor ear heard because it is hid in God, our true happiness bound up in the richness of Christ, obtainable by his guidence and thru his grace. The goodness God has prepared for us and preparing us for, laid up in the riches of Christ for those that fear him and trust him. The goodness which awaits all believers; the things made available to all who commune with him in spirit and in truth. What God has for those who work righteousness,for those who are cheerful in doing the whole duty, as he delights himself in the Lord. Those who obey him and submit to his will, making mention of him in all that we do, as we walk in a way worthy of the name by which we are called.
   For the eye hath not seen another God beside thee O God ..... A God who was accused of my faults, a God tried for my charges, a God convicted of my sins and yet he never said a mummling word; a God whipped for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities, a God who served my sentence as he suffered bleed and died on a cross that i might have a right to the good things God has in store for me. Jesus the Christ the good thing God has for all who will believe............Got Jesus?  

The Shame of the cross

Joyce listened to the voice on the answering machine with a grim line on her face."Joyce,this is patti calling again. Listen, I'm really sorry about everything. Please call me back."
   Joyce didn't want to have anything more to do with her ex-friend. Joyce confided in Patti that she needed her emotions healed from a past victimization. How dare patti tell the women's prayer group at the church that Joyce had been raped!
    Joyce shut her bedroom door and went into her regular morning prayer. She sang praises to God. She thanked him for grace and mercy. What a blessing it is to be able to commune with God, to know God, to be his friend, she prayed.Joyce realized it was because of Jesus' death on the cross that she had salvation. She was no longer an enemy. She was reconciled."I am reconciled with you God,"Joyce repeated the sentence. It rang in her ears."....And I am a minister of reconciliation," she said slowly. If Christ had to die to reconcile her to himself, she would have to do the same to walk in harmony with others." but patti was wrong,wrong,wrong Joyce thought. Why did everything have to come back to her? Why couldn't God just let her point a finger? The telephone rang and Patti's voice came on the answering machine again. This time Joyce picked up the receiver.
     The shame of the cross is real. In fact, while Jesus died, people scorned and ridiculed him, and they challenged him to demonstrate his devine powers and liberated himself from the cross. That Jesus refused
is,indeed, the power and glory of his atonement

Matt. 27:51 " And behold; the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake and the rocks rent"
        "I am the door, by me if any man enters in he shall be saved..Here we have the greatest event ever recorded in history. a night when the world witnessed the evil in man , and beheld the love of God. A night when the sin of mankind came face to face with the salvation of the world, when all was revealed from behind the curtain. it was the night they crucified my savior.This precious lamb of God shedding his blood for the remission of sin, so man could be reconciled back to God.Jesus perfecting his glorious body, preparing a people for his prepared place. Jesus the love of God ,giving us the word of God that we might be led by the spirit of God.A perfect sacrifice for an imperfect people, a lamb without spot and or blemish, taking on the sins of the world; Jesus making himself a curse that we might be free from the curse.Behold the man, hung high between heaven and earth, like he is unworthy or either but the creator of both. Behold the man in the mist of two thieves, separating the old man from the new;behold the man, God stretch out like a bridge over troubled water, bridging the gap reuniting fallen back to a saving God.Behold the man, Gods word made flesh, mans healing, mans deliverence, mans salvation.The work now complete, and Jesus cries with a loud voice, that all the world should hear,a loud voice that his death should be proclaimed out loud to all the world, a loud voice that we may know that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, Jesus cried with a loud voice and gave up the Ghost. And the veil was ripped, Jesus died and behold heavens doors were opened.Jesus gave up the Ghost and the veil was torn, the veil of sin , the flesh, which separated man from God now destroyed.Behind the curtain was the golden censer, his name was Jesus the answered prayers of a dying world; behind th ecurtain was the manna from heaven , his name was jesus bread in a starving land; Behind the curtain was the mercy seat, his name was Jesus, Gods mercy on fallen man, behind the curtain was the covenent , his name was jesus, he made away past the flaming cherubin that man now had access to the tree of life. proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death"
     Man was made in the image and likeness of God, but he is not God. In the beginning God had the perfect plan for mankind, to live with him eternally in a garden paradise. But man though he could improve on Gods perfect plan, and in his disobedience has made a mess of everything. If you look around all the mess, all the confusion, all the trouble, choas and problems in the world are a result of man trying to improve on Gods perfect plan.(you notice that before God made man he put everything in place just so man couldn't mess things up).God had the perfect plan for a family, but we've let society redefine what a family is and it's makeup. he had the perfect plan for raising our children,(train up a child in the way he should go; spare the rod spoil the child) and we let Dr. spock come tell us to let our children have freedom of choice, now look they choose to shoot up schools, fight momma and daddy, and become babies making babies.He had the perfect plan for marriage between man and woman, wives submit to your own husbands as unto the Lord; husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it, and we let Dr. Phil, Dr. Ruth and everybody else that agreed with our selfishness tell us different. Gods plan even covered how to have the perfect community, as we are my brothers keeper, looking out for the fatherless, widows and orphans; and how to live in a perfect land; If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, seek my face turn from their wicked ways then will i hear from heaven and heal their land. Oh yes saints God had a perfect plan and we messed it up; but God being all knowing had a perfect plan so it contained provisions for when we messed up. His plan included Jesus the Christ, Gods eraser, to wipe away all the mistakes made by mankind. Jesus can repair the broken home, he can put together the torn apart  marriage, control the out of controlled child,and save a lost and dying community. If those who are called by his name,those who profess to be his, would trust in the lord, and would live the life we were called to live, as we follow Jesus others would follow us out of darkness into Gods marvelous light. Still good;Still God;and still saves

Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ;the same yesterday, today, and forever"
   Christianty and religion; over the years these two words have come to mean something totally different than what they were intended. The corruption and misuse of one , has caused us to challenge the integrity of the other.With an ever increasing desire for power, prestige, and monitary gain, the dignity,character, and respect of christianity has been brought into question. The vainess of mans imagination, along with his new style religion, has polluted, distorted and corrupted the worlds view of a christian. The religions of today driven by the desires of the flesh, is no longer pure and undefiled. If you look hard enough you could find a religion to comfort, and which conforms to every attitude, belief, and lifestyle of mans imagination; complete with a doctrine, denomination and a congregation to follow a self proclaimed leader.In our vain conversation, we have distorted, altered,and cheapened Gods perfect plan of salvation.Change has become optional(Jesus said you MUST be born again)Salvation is now a game of chance, being sold, auctioned off, and some play lets make a deal with God, proclaiming he has changed so we don't have to.(this started because one person disobeyed God, it wasn't acceptable then and it's not acceptable now if it was sin then it's still sin today regardless of what mankind says) In our search for the ideal religion, we have gotten caught up in the treasures and pleasures of this world;we have closed our hearts to Gods revelation,and have opened our minds to mans imangination.Saints Jesus never changes, what was sin then is still sin now;what he spoke against then , he is still speaking against now. Jesus did't die to give us the right to sin, he died to save us from sin, and he rose to give us the power to live without sin.Jesus Christ ,the same Yesterday,today,and forever.Jesus is the same in the old testiment as he is in the new testiment. The Lord is my shepherd  i shall not want, David said it in the old testiment and Jesus said it in the new "I will supply your every need" It is Jesus who paid the cost to be the boss, it is about him and him alone. Jesus is  the bishop of our souls if you want to be in position to prosper get with Jesus.Jesus Christ the same Yesterday; Gods spoken word, by which all things made was made, the spoken word by which Abraham believed and it was counted as Righteousness(for faith comes by hearing) .Jesus Christ, the same today; the written word of God unchanged and uncensored, to rebuke, reprove,to correct and instruct us in righteous that we might be thourgly furnished unto every good work. written that we might believe on the only begotten of God.Jesus Christ the same yesterday,today, and forever; The living word of God , yesterday the ram in the bush, today the lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world.Yesterday the way out of the firery furnance, today the way out of the fires of eternal damnation.Yesterday noah's ark, today the savior of all who enters his rest. Yesterday manna from heaven today and forever more the bread of heaven bread of heaven feed me until i want no more. Yersterday the love of God , today the love from God to all who will believe...........Got Jesus?

Lame Sheep of the Lord

Hebrews 12:13 "And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way;but let it rather be heald.
     Every shepherd would love to have a flock where all the sheep are fleet of foot ,and have a joyous spirit. But the truth is that in every flock there are weak, lame and feeble sheep; yet all belong to the shepherd.Sheep are liable to many diseases which make them weak and feeble, some become weak through a bad diet, eating contaminated food, giving them foot rot hindering their ability to walk upright. Then some are lame from birth, weak by nature(called the runt of the litter),these are the sheep the good shepherd will take pitty on and seek to heal and strengthen. We the saints of God are also subject to diseases which can cause us to become weak and feeble.(worldly concerns,inward conflicts,trials tribulation all effect our walk).This has moved God with great compassion for the weak and feeble of his flock, in fact he rebukes those who neglect the diseased and sick of his flock, his word says" the diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye heald that which was sick".Saints the strong have a responsibility to the weak and feeble of the flock It is our duty, to with courage and in faith to help one another forward on the way to heaven, to help the weak and feeble thru their afflictions that they might be strengthened to a greater degree of holiness, as trials are ment to make us , stronger.(we should do for other what others did for us in our growth).
  There are many on their way to heaven, who yet walk lame and weak, but they still try to stay the course, many who are in need of spiritual strenght, having fallen hands and weak knees,but still are pressing toward the mark of the high calling of God.So let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us,(some hands have fallen and knees are weak because we carry things God wants us to leave behind).Let us with prayer and supplication bear one anothers burdens with patience ,that we might all reach this journeys end.(Gods will is that none shall parish).Lift up the hands that hang down, and strenghten the feeble knees which can depress and discourage many on this walk.Let the strong first make sure the paths are straight for our feet, that we might better run this race and stay the course. straight paths by staying away from crooked customs, religious rituals and self serving doctrines which trip up many on the way.Strait paths thru faith that God is; with the patience that God will, and the holy courage to stand firm in your faith, having an undying Joy in the Lord.This will make your walk steady and prevent wavering and wandering along this journey.Let us encourage and not discourage others that are traveling in the same way, for this may cause the lame and weak to turn away.( when christians fight among each other it causes doubt and distrust amoung the weak and unstable of the flock)Those with little hope, limited faith,living in doubt and fear, as they might begin to backslide,neglecting the grace of God.They might give in to the evil influences of others,listening to haters, neysayers,and non believers.We can't let the weak parish thru neglect, forgetting Christ died for them too, we can't dispise them as though they are worthless as the blood of Christ was shed for them also.So let us not lose hope and give up on them. We must strengthen them with comfort, relieving them their distress, showing them the love of God and assuring them they are never alone;we must restore them, rebuild their hope ,faith and trust in God through the power of our testimony and the truth of Gods word.Jesus the Christ , the good shepherd, the door to the sheep, who will bless us comming and going. So let us lead them in THE WAY;feed them with THE TRUTH, and expose them to THE LIFE; Jesus Christ the way,truth and the life...........Got Jesus? tell a friend change a life

Romans 7:21  "I find then a law,that,when I would do good evil is present with me:"
  Is there anyone here besides me that has discovered,that it seems to be much easier, or that I am a much better Christian in church on Suday mornings, than I am during the rest of the week.(lets be honest with ourselves today) Even though, I know i'm saved, I know that i'm a new creature in Christ, even though I know That I am his and Jesus is mine, sometimes the other side of me gets the best of me.Sometimes he is the domineering influence in my behavior;sometimes it's the other side of me that makes the decisions in my life.(I know I'm not the only one here today). See all my decisions are not Godly decisions, every now and then, I want the credit, I want to get my point across, sometimes, I think my responce will be the best responce for certain situations, every now and then I want people to know where I'm comming from. Just when you think he's gone, he shows up at some very unique oppertunities, and completely uninvited.See the other side of me is convienced that if I am ever going to get ahead, he has to come to the fore front. After all this is a dog eat dog world, so sometimes I have to let the dog out.The other side of me ,even though he is a enemy of God, he pretends to be my best friend,always looking out for what he feels is best for me. I'm talking about the other side of me, who thinks that the world revolves around him.Yes there is that side of me who loves the Lord, whose sole purpose is to live for the Lord and serve and worship him, and when ever I want to show the Godly side, that other side of me is lurking, looking, and waiting on that opportunity to challenge my christianity. Paul said there is a law, that when I would do good ,evil is right there waiting. When I would give ,take is right there;when I would share, selfishness is hanging around; when I would pray ,here comes gossip,when I would do good , bad is in the neighborhood, and when I would love, hate is on that thin line.But I thank God for Jesus., the source of my strenght in my time of weakness. Jesus the Christ: the Man in the middle

Luke 23:33  "and when they were come to the place, which is called Calvery, there they crucified him, and the malfactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left"
   
     There was this father and son, the father bought his son a shiney new toy car to play with. One day the boy broke his car and started to cry, he brought the wheel of the car to his dad and asked him to fix it, his daddy told him son i can't fix this. The boy cried louder took the wheel and walked away. He came back with another broken piece crying saying daddy fix my car ,his dad looked at his son and said  I want to fix it but I can't, see the boy didn't realize his daddy needed the whole car in order to fix it . Saints , I wish I could tell  you that I've been saved my whole life, but the truth is I haven't.See that thief that hung on the left of Jesus use to be me. I went to church, my mother taught me about God, when I messed up I would go to God and ask him to fix it, but like the boy I wouldn't bring him my whole life. I would take him parts of it. I would take him my personal problems ,but keep my financial affairs to myself, or i'd take him my mother get on my nerve complains but my addictions I said I could handle. See I wanted him to fix me but I would bring me to him.But after a 18 year crack addiction, when I was broken, and beaten,  when I had lost everything, my family,kids,self respect, job , and place to live, when I found myself trapped in the darkness of sin, sick and tired of being sick and tired, homeless, sleeping on a bus stop bench in Las Vegas Nevada, feeling blocked with a  drug addiction, which I wanted to be freed of behind me, and the red sea before me,( all the things which promised me freedom I was now a slave too),I couldn't see no way out, just when I was about to throw in the towel, Then came Jesus; see as I laid on that bench, a drunk man came up to me and said " If you want something you never had before try somebody you never tried before , try Jesus" now first I though he's just drunk. (Then it hit me when you are in the dark, it don't matter whose holding the light just follow it out of darkness.)  I laid there and looked up to heaven and (having no faith of my own I stepped out on my mothers faith) I said " God My Mother Said ,You can Do Anything, I Need  To See You For Myself". Now don't get me wrong, when I woke up I was still homeless and hungry, but there was something going on on the inside, it is something I couldn't find words to explain, there was peace, that I could understand, a joy that I couldn't explain, a comfort of knowing everything was going to be alright. I know what it was now, see through the washing of regeneration, I was being made new , born another, different from the first, Jesus had come between the old me and the new me. He separated us by time ,see the old me he called then and the new me he calls now.I heard a voice say"This day you shall be with me in paradise, I am the way ,the truth and the life". Jesus the man in the middle who separated me from my sins that I might be called the righteousness of God. Got Jesus? tell a friend change a life.

Romans 8:28-" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose".
   Storms are an inexcapeable part of this life.I don't care who you are, into each life some rain must fall.Heartach and pain will come just as sure as you are born. In this life you will shed some tears; you will be lied on, lied to, and lied about; you will be stepped on, stepped over, pushed down, pushed out of the way, pulled back, pulled down, talked down to and talked about in some very un becomming ways,( you will be treated worst than you ever were in the world).Your feeling will be hurt by people who will claim to love you, to the point that you will begin to think giving up or quiting are your only options.But this is all part of life on this side of Glory. We are going to have to suffer unjustly (having no fault of our own), simply because of whose we are and who we are following. The word of God says all who will live Godly shall suffer persecution. If you are indeed walking with Jesus, there will be some valley experiences; there is a cross for everyone and there is a cross for me. Too many on the journey fall by the wayside because of the many storms associated with this life.After all the storms weren't this bad or didn't come this often when we were in the world.But we now have an enemy whose sole duty is to stop you from fulfilling Gods will for your life. But the things that happen are part of Gods purpose, God is using them to work in and on your life.I'm talking about his purpose on purpose. Our trials and tribulations don't catch God off guard, every rain drop of every storm has a God ordained target. We are not talked about, picked on, attacked, or lied on by accident, they all have a purpose on purpose. God makes our suffering work together with our battles, which work together with our tribulations, which work together with our trials, which work together with our hardships, and all these bad things Gods work together for our good, he uses these bad things to bring forth a good thing a prepared person for his prepared place. See Jesus suffered on purpose as Gods purpose, he was whipped on purpose for Gods purpose, he was hung on a cross on purpose for Gods purpose, and he laid down his life on purpose( for no man took his life he laid it down) for Gods purpose and he rose on purpose for Gods purpose that we might live in Gods purpose on purpose................Got Jesus? tell a fried change a life

Gods Love!

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
   Love ; the most powerful of all emotions, it has been the focal point and topic of a many movies, books, songs, plays,and poems over the years.Love is the one thing you can't live without. It is also the one thing to where there is no defense, you can't stop love ,there is no end to love, and there is no containing love.You can't kill ,destroy or hurt love. true love ,Gods love is not just a word it is in fact THE WORD. It is the same word which was the beginning and in the beginning at the same time. But man has taken love from a life giving spirit, to an emotion,or feeling which come and goes,degrading it down to something we say to munipulate a person or situation or cheepening it to just plain lust.Saints love is alive, and it gives life, it breathes the very nature of the word shows action. Love does things, because it is a doer. Love makes things happen, it goes places and takes you places; love changes things, love cares for you,shares with you,listens too you,grows in you, gives to you, takes from you, provides for you, it helps you, it serves you and with you, suffers for you and love will sacrifice itself to save another, even an enemy. Love is always present in every good deed, and is the very power behind the forgiveness of every bad deed. Love is permanent, everything else comes and goes, but love is everlasting. Love can call something out of nothing, and bring that which was dead back to life. Love can make a sinner a saint, and take one from earth all the way to heavan. when love can't believe well of others, it begins to hope for the best in everything, and will continue to hope as long as there is hope. How wonderful this world would be  if those who confessed christianity would display this devine principle and obey the commandment given us by our savior;"to love one another as i have loved you". It is in love and through love that  we will be able to come together as one unified body of Christ, and with one loud voice proclaim Gods Love to a Dying world, Jesus Christ the power of God unto salvation!

Reach out; with Jesus, God only message

Acts: 8:35 "Then Phillip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus";
 
  Saints the 40 days following his resurrection, Jesus met with his disciples on numerous occasions. During these gatherings Jesus instructed them to preach the gospel message to a dying world.It is with this single message,that we reach out to a dying world.Everything we will ever need can be found in Gods only message, everything God wanted to say to man, everything he wanted to do for man, everything he wanted to give to man was accomplished when he gave us Jesus the Christ,Gods only message. In Jesus is the fulness of life, which the early saints understood.Even though they were smaller in number, they were big in faith,love, and understood where its strength and power lied.( They did more with less, while we are doing less with more)They didn't have the megga buildings but their church was built on the foundation of the gospel. No matter what challenges ,trial , and/or tribulation came their way, they never lost focus as to what their mission was ,nor did they sway from their message,as they continued to reach out to a lost world.( just think they started with only 12 men having no transportation, telephones, internet,t.v. radio, or even bibles and the gospel is all the way here, just think how far we can take it).When sin crept in, they reached out with the gospel, when envy raised its ugly head they reached out, preaching Christ and him crucified. When trouble tried to enter the body of believers thru murmuring, they never lost sight of their mission; even when faced with death(like stephen) they reached out with Christ type love, as they prayed that this charge be not held against their enemies.They realized their strenght was in doing Gods will,they were lead by  Gods spirit, and trusted in Gods word, and reached out with Jesus the Christ Gods only message to a dying world.

The power of your Testimony

Revelations 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and the word of their Testimony:and they loved not their lives unto death:"

       Testimony;From the root word tetis, meaning to witness. Webster says testimony "is a statement of fact,A declaration of truth". Saints the bible is full of testimonies. Filled with statements of facts and truths; Testified of by kings, judges, prophets,priest,Apostles, disciples, and even God himself. It contains testimonies from the greatest of men ,to the lowest of people. we are taught and we teach the many different experiences testified of by those of the bible. But saints to have a powerful testimony of our own, we must experience that which they testified about.( we must have a Red sea deliverence to know he is a way out of no way, must come up against some goliaths to know he will fight your battles, have a damasscus road experience to know you've been born again). To have a powerful testimony, we must be true witnesses, that Jesus is the Christ the son of the living God.See the book of Revelations was written  to encourage the lost to seek and find Christ and to encourage believers to endure and perserver thru persecution and suffering, knowing we already have the victory through Jesus Chrsit the captain of our salvation.
   See even though the enemy has been defeated he will constantly put your testimony to the test, he'll try your faith, trust and belief in God.Every time you announce your alligence with God the tempter will come along to make a lier out of you.But it says "They overcame him with the blood of the lamb and the power of their testimony" This is past tense we've already won we just have hold on and believe our testimony.By the blood we've bee redeemed, made free, cleansed, washed ,and saved. Jesus has paid it all, the charges has been dismissed.We over came by the blood of Christ and our witness about Christ, our confession that he is the son of God.The word of your testimony , a great weapon of war, your testimony breaking down strongholds, and defenses of the devil, your testimony carrying you thru the trails of life reminding you of the power of God,( your red sea experience ,reminding you he is a way out of no way, your new birth conviencing  you ,that you can do all things thru Christ that strengthens you). The power of your testimony giving you the courage and patience to endure the suffering, the strength to stand during the trails and tribulations of this life and and the power to convience a dying world that Jesus is the Christ the power of God unto salvation.

A prepared place for a prepared people:

Matt.25:34 "Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand come,ye blessed of my Father;Inherit the Kingdom prepared For you from the foundation of the world".
  There was once a group of men on a ship traveling up the Deleware River; It was after dark, and they were just kicking back admiring the clouds which were illuminated by a great fire in the city of Philidelphia.When the ship docked, one of the men was handed a message which read "Your factory has been destroyed by a great fire". He had sat back and admired the blaze which destroyed his lively hood.
   Saints there are many today who are sitting back admiring the destruction of their livelyhoods as they let the opportunity to accept Jesus in their lives pass away right before their eyes.See many are under the impression that we have forever or there will be a tomorrow, but the word says "the day you hear his voice harden not your hearts". See none of us are promised a tomorrow so let us seek the Lord while he can be found.No man knows the day nor the hour when the son of man comes. The responsibility of repentence is on everyone who hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ,  for that is the appointed time of salvation for the gospel  is the power of God unto salvation to all who believes.Jesus said it shall be more tolerablefor the wicked cities of Tyre and Sidon, in the day of judgement than for those who reject the gospel. Remember the ten virgins five were wise and five were foolish; and no matter what they though said or believed all that was not in the ark when the floods came died. So i ask you will you be on the right hand?

The danger of walking by sight

Deut. 1:21--"Behold, the Lord thy God hath set the land before thee;Go up and posses it, as the Lord God of the fathers hath said unto thee, fear not, neither be discouraged".......
   The mission was complete, the twelve men had returned from their undercover surveillance of enemy territory. They now stood before their fellow country men. The report came in ; the land is good! But ten said it's impossible to possess, the people are too strong, its cities to well defended, and it's a land which eateth up the inhabitants. The people were swayed, they abandoned their invasion plans, and elected to return to the enslavement from which they had been delivered.
   Saints we live in a 24/7 media world; it consist of television, radio, internet,phones newspapers, books , magizines and the trusted word of mouth.It's a media which even when factual, it can be misleading, prejudicial and often very one sided.( it will generally carry the views, opinons and beliefs of the one reporting the story). There are televison programs swaying people to believe certain lifestyles are acceptable; music which potrays our women as female dogs and certain garden tools,while encouraging our young men to be thugs gansters and big baller, having no pride or self respect about them selves. The secular media tells us " it's your life , life it your way to the fullest", while the religious media says " you can't live holy, and God understands", thus many are swayed to abandon Gods perfect plan for our lives,and return to the enslavement of sin to which we have been made free.
  The word of God says "I can do ALL things through Christ who Strenghtens me", saints who are we going to believe ?, the report of man or the word of God?  The challengers might be strong but my God is stronger, the problems might be giant but my God is Bigger, let us stop telling God about my problems ,and start telling our  problems about our God that he is able.We're are at the door step of our breakthrough, let us walk on by faith into the promised rest in the promised land that God has prepared for those who trust and believe him.
We walk by faith not by sight.......................

A New Life With Christ

Col. 3:3-"For ye are dead , and your life is hid with Christ in God"
  Saints we as believers have been called to be the beloved of God, his elect who really believe and trust Jesus Christ as our savior.By the grace of God we have been given new life. By surrendering our life to Christ,God has forgiven us our sins, and he now accepts us in Christ death and resurrection.Now thru the resurrection of Christ, God has blessed us with heavenly blessings which should occupy our every praise and thanksgiving.Christ resurrection shows us that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God. By it we know by faith that we have been raised to a new life, that we are saved and justified, given power to live victoriously over sin and the trials of this world.We are given hope, even the hope of glory, and we are guaranteed our own resurrection.God takes our faith in Jesus,and counts it as righteousness,our faith in Jesus makes us one with Christ giving us union with him, so when he died and rose again,we to by faith,died and rose a new creature in Christ.Having a new life with a new heart. A heart ruled by the peace of Jesus Christ, a peace that passes all understanding. A peace which binds us ,joins us, and weaves us together,that we are assured , confident, and secured in the love and care of God.This peace strengthens, encourages, guides, substains ,delivers, saves, provides,and gives us real life, a new life in Christ.This peace makes us one with Christ and his word.This new heart is rich with the word of Christ. His Gospel taking root in the heart to furnish us with all the wealth of its commandments, promises, instructions and warnings that we might have real love one to another, as we do everything in the name of Jesus.To the redeemed Christ is all in all, he is everything and all that matters, for we have died to everything else,and now we live a life hid with Christ in God

Can these bones live?

Ezk.37:1- The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the mist of the valley which was full of bones:
  Saints when you're part of a great worship service,you can get so caught up in the moment, that you might forget the whole world is not saved. We can get so exited with whats going on inside the church, that we can forget there is a lost and dying world outside; a valley of dry bones. With all the shouting, hand clapping, singing and ,praising going on inside, it can sometimes drowns out the crys for help outside.We might overlook the fact that just outside the walls, there are some lost in sin,hindered with sickness and held by the  hopelessness of despair, and we wonder can these bones live! The good news is these bones can live. When Gods spirit carries you in the mist of the valley, know that thru the word of God the lost can find their way, the sick can be cured , the sinner can be saved, and the dead can live.Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life ; he is the way to God ; he is  the truth of God , and he is the life eternal promised by God.So the next time you are part of a great worship service, allow the spirit of God to lead you to share with those on the outside, that which you recieved on the inside that these bones might have life. Lifes choices:

Ruth 1:16  "Entreat me, not to leave thee, nor return from following after thee, for whitter thou goest, i will go, and where thou lodgest i will lodge,thy people shall be my people and thy God my God."

  Decision time! Your're at the crossroads of life, now what do you do? Saints at some point each of us will have to make a decision that will effect the rest of our life. We will meet with ourselves at the crossroads of life, some call it the moment of truth. A time which what we do next, will play a major role in the rest of our life.We will be face with a great decision or change in our life.It might be to go to college or not go to college,get married or divorced, to have a baby or not, to move in or move out,let him in or put her out, take a job or leave a job, but no matter what it is,we all will come to the crossroads and face a life changing decision.But  no decision we will ever make, will be more important than the decision to follow Christ or not.In our story Naomi shares with Or'pah and Ruth the same message, but to one it is a message of encouragement and the other a message on discourgement. Ruth decided to walk by faith into the new, while Or'pah decided to return to the way of old.
   Saints Jesus shares the same message to all, yet some see it as a message of  encouragement and follow him, while other a message of discouragement and return to the way of old. How will you decide? Will you follow Jesus or will you return to the ways of old.

Walking by faith

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not;

 In the early 1960's in a small Mississippi town there lived a woman with her four children. They didn't have much but, but she always told them if they ever needed anything to call on Jesus and he would supply their every need. The mother past away, leaving the four children all alone and in need. The oldest child remembered his mothers words and they wrote a letter to Jesus, telling him all the things they were in need of.They put the letter in an envelope addressed to Jesus the Christ Heaven Mississippi and put it in the mail box. The mail man got the letter an noticed it didn't have a stamp on it, so he took it home, saying to his wife look at this strange letter. The wife opened the letter and begin to read it, tears began running down her face as she read the letter for it touched her heart. The next day she went and bought all the things the children were in need of, and her and her husband adopted the children as their own.
     Jesus said to call upon him and he will answer, and show us great things  which we don't know. Saint we walk by faith, let us not look at what we don't have but have faith in what God does have; The earth is the lords and the fulness there of; if you have a need, take it to God, you don't know what angel he'll use to answer your prayer.

  

I love you

John 15:13-Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for a friend:

    I love you; These three words have been held responsible for a lot of  foolish actions.People have turned their backs on family and friends all in the name of love.There have been bad choices made, physical and mental abuse accepted and even homicide/suicides committed because of the words i love you. But i ask the question, was love the reason? Is love the reason we make bad choices?Is love the reason we buy things we can't afford for people we don't need in our life?Is love really the reason for the un Godly lifestyles lived by so many in todays world? Does love really cause you to say that which is not true? The truth is most of what we do in the name of love has nothing to do with love at all. Love is pure, love is good,love is of God because God is love. So how can something so good cause so many to do so much bad! I asked Jesus how much did he love me , and he said this much ;as he stretched out his arms and died for me. Jesus loved us enough to lay downhis life that we might have life , let us to love one another enough to lay down our life that another might find the salvation of the Lord.

Eph. 2:4-5  But God who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ,(by grace ye are saved).
 
There was a bridge operator who had but one son, whom he loved with all his heart. one day his son wanted to go to work with him as he was called in , see the bridge was stuck and the train was comming with 1000's of people on board. As the operator got the bridge fixed the train approching he heard his son cry out, see his son was caught in the gears of the bridge, and as it lowered it was ripping the flesh of his only son. Now to save his son, the passengers on the train would die, but to save the passengers his son would die.As he looked up at the train he watched many people just partying , drinking unaware of what this father gave up that they might live...
The most astonishing innterruption in human history is the word "but". Man dead in sin and trespass, on the party train to hell "But God". God intervined in the destiny of man. He interruped the doom of death and gave him a path to eternal life. But by the grace of God there go I...

Do you believe

John 11:25-26  "I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whosoever lives and believes in me will never die"

   One September in the early 1900's, there was a killer hurricane that hit galveston island in Texas. There was only one bridge which connected the island to the mainland, and was the only evacuation route for thousands of people. Even though they didn't have all the fancy detection equipment we have today, there was plenty of early warning given, that the hurricane and all it's fury was comming. But there was no visible signs, the people couldn't actually see the hurricane nor hear its fury. So dispite the warnings they choose to do nothing. So when that terrible storm struck  six thousand people died and the city was destroyed. Today there is a concrete sea wall which stands as a barrier and a reminder that thousands of people heard a message of warning and choose not to respond. Exodus 12:4" and if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of souls; everyman according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

A little boy asked his mother which character in "The pilgrims progress she liked best, she replied Christian of course he is the hero of the story. Her son said i don't mother i liked Christina best; for when Christian went on his pilgrimage he went alone, but when Christina went she took the children with her".
    We mght not be able to bring every body we want to Christ but let us bring everybody we can.

Luke 19:10 "For the son of man is come to seek and save that which was lost"
      There was once this drunk man, who stumbled his way into a phone booth, he then dialed the operator and asked her to trace the call and tell him where he was. See this man realized that he was lost. Now funny as this might sound the tragic thing is  the world is full of people who are stumbling through life drunk on pride, self righteousness , personal gain, and the joys and toys of this world. There are a great many people, who enter church houses around the world to worship and praise God, but who have no ideal they are lost; lost in religion, denonminations, church leadership, and self serving idealisms. The making of men catchers

Matt. 4:19-" follow me, and i will make you fishers of men"
Church conversion is best displayed when it leads converts to seek the salvation of others. we are truly followers of Christ when we live a life which leads others to seek a life with Christ.
    Being a man catcher is not an occupation for the idle person, it takes laboring and self denial. One has to be dependant on,and have trust in the Lord. One must be diligent and perserving in their Quest, intellegent and watchful in their duty, and must pray without ceasing, for it is plenty of hardship and hazzards which comes along with this work. No matter what we use to be , we can, by following Jesus become useful tools in the building of his kingdom and the spreading of the Gospel. Follow Jesus he will make you fishers of men.

The reason for his death was salvation

John 3:16 says God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not parish but have everlasting life.

He was given to us that we might have life , but we must accept him to have this life and share him that others might enjoy life everlasting. how can we say we love someone and not be willing to share with them the best of us?
